Description:

This cooling tower is designed on the induced draft cross-flow principle, featuring a robust FRP structure with a top-mounted distribution basin. Water is dispersed uniformly through flower-type target nozzles and flows vertically over PVC V-bar fills for maximum heat transfer. A vertically mounted fan draws air across the fill media, ensuring efficient cooling performance. The cooled water collects in the base sump and is re-circulated for continuous operation.

Working Principle:
Water Distribution:
  • FRP distribution basin at the top with multiple flower-type target nozzles.
  • Water flows by gravity and spreads uniformly over the fill media.
Heat Exchange Process:
  • Water travels vertically downward along the PVC V-bar fill.
  • Air is drawn horizontally across the fill by a vertically mounted fan.
Cooling Mechanism:
  • A small portion of water evaporates, removing heat.
  • Warm moist air is discharged to the atmosphere through the fan deck.
Collection & Re-Circulation:
  • Cooled water collects at the sump at the bottom.
  • Then it is re-circulated to the process/application.
Key Features:
