Description:

The FRP Cross Flow Cooling Tower is engineered to deliver long functional life, high performance, and excellent dependability. Manufactured from premium-grade FRP materials, these towers provide superior resistance to chemicals, corrosion, and harsh outdoor conditions. Its simplified design reduces reliance on rotary sprinklers or tiny nozzles and allows easy cleaning and maintenance of the distribution basin even while the tower is operating.

This model is ideal for any natural water flow cooling application, ensuring efficient and economical cooling performance with lower power consumption. The fan, motor, and water distribution system are positioned externally for quick access, ensuring reduced downtime and easy serviceability.

Operating Principle:

The FRP Cross Flow Cooling Tower operates on the Induced Draft Cross Flow Principle, where both airflow and water flow intersect for efficient heat exchange:

  • Hot Water Distribution:
Hot water enters the FRP distribution basin located at the top of the cooling tower. The basin is equipped with multiple flower-type target nozzles.
  • Gravity Water Flow:
Water flows downward by gravity, passing uniformly through the nozzles onto the fill media without the need for high-pressure sprinklers
  • Vertical Water Movement Through Fill Media:
The water travels vertically down through the honeycomb PVC fill media, increasing surface contact for efficient heat exchange.
  • Air Induction by Horizontal Fan:
A horizontally placed fan, directly coupled to the motor, draws atmospheric air across the fill media, enabling effective cross-flow cooling
  • Heat Removal Through Evaporation:
A small portion of the water evaporates, absorbing heat from the remaining water. This warm, moist air is then pulled toward the fan
  • Air Discharge to Atmosphere:
The warm air is expelled through the fan deck, releasing it into the atmosphere.
  • Cold Water Collection & Recirculation:
The cooled water is collected in the collection sump at the bottom of the tower and is then recirculated back into the system for reuse.
Key Features:
  • Durable FRP Construction
Made with high-quality FRP for chemical and corrosion resistance, ensuring a longer lifespan.
